It was another beautiful Alberta day. Blue skies with an occasional skiff of clouds. Not too hot and not windy. Perfect flying weather - a perfect day for an airshow! And it seemed many others had also deemed that to be true! The grounds were teaming with spectators there to see the daring aerobatics of the various performers; Kyle Fowler, Yellow Thunder, Undaunted Airshows, Red Fox, Vampire Airshows, the United States Airforce A10C Thunderbolt II, the Canadian Forces Skyhawks Parachute Team, RCAF CF-18 Hornet, and of course, our own Canadian Forces Snowbird 431 Air Demonstration Squadron. It was a great way to spend an afternoon. Mental note - come early and don't plan to rush off at the end of the day!!

In flying I have learned that carelessness and overconfidence are usually far more dangerous than deliberately accepted risks.
