We were privileged to attend the Edmonton Air Show 2021 in Villeneuve in August. Saturday was a perfect day for the show with the major clouds holding off until late afternoon. The lineup of demonstration flights was a bit more low key than in other years, but it was still a bit of a miracle that the organizers were able to pull off an event of this caliber with so little advance planning. We enjoyed the outing as one of the first times we've been in a crowd in about 2 years! And what a crowd! It took us 2+ hours from the time we arrived at Villeneuve until we were parked and through the gates. Well worth it though! We thoroughly enjoyed the show and marvelled at the agility and speed of the aircraft as they did their demonstration flights. Mental note: bring ear plugs - if not for the planes, for the PA as some of the best locations for photography on the grounds were in the vicinity of a loud speaker! Thank you announcers for making sure all could hear.
